Chris Wright

Chris joined Chaucer (Syndicate 2088) in 2016 and is responsible for developing the International Non-Marine treaty portfolio. He joined from Hardy where he had been a Senior Underwriter for US, Japanese and APAC business as well as holding managerial positions in Bermuda and Singapore. He has over 20 years of market experience, having started his reinsurance career in 2000 at Willis Re handling Japanese, US and Global accounts. He holds a degree in European Studies (German) from University College London and spent three years teaching English in Japan on the JET programme before returning to London in 1999.
